My Story
I love being a therapist. I believe my job is forever continuing learning, whether it's about my clients' experiences or about psychology and human behavior. And I love learning!
I use multiple evidence-based approaches with my clients, depending on their needs. Understanding one's own experience is an important and foundational step to self-compassion, which is a step to growth.
You don’t have to work through your problems alone. There’s help. Change and starting new things can be scary for all of us, but sometimes when we do scary things, with a little help, we can grow.
My goal for you is to feel empowered, confident, and comfortable in your own skin. You will learn more about yourself and your capability to take on the world. You will become your biggest fan, right beside me.
Professional experience
I completed my Master’s degree at Columbia University in New York. I have worked throughout the United States either performing or supporting therapy. During my studies and work, I have concentrated on working with women, children, adolescents, and families. I have experience with working with a wide range of problems. My specialties and passion are working with people with trauma, eating disorders, body image issues, ADHD, and women issues.
I have worked with people from different backgrounds, ethnicities, races, sexual orientations, and religions. I am an open-minded individual and respect everyone’s lifestyles. I use evidence-based treatments in my practice. Everyone is different, so everyone’s therapy will look different. I am a visitor in your life and will collaborate with you to find what works for you.
